Veiled (2019, California)

$30.00

Winter is my favorite time to go to Yosemite, and it’s all because of the effect winter storms have on the valley floor. Just out of frame to the left, hidden by low clouds and mist, is Bridalveil Falls (hence the name).

I only sell this print in letter size, because I love the way the cloud areas pull out the texture of the William Turner watercolor paper. It’s a joy to feel under your fingertips (though be gentle, as the coating on this paper has a tendency to flake if it’s over-handled!).

Proceeds from the sale of this print benefit equally the Environmental Defense Fund and the Natural Resources Defense Council, both of which score above 90% on Charity Navigator overall, and are praised in particular for their accountability and transparency. These prints are made in-house on 190gsm fine art paper with a watercolor structure and a matte finish. They are produced using archival-quality pigment-based inkjet inks, and when protected appropriately, should resist fading for decades.

8.5 x 11 prints will have a 0.8in white border around the edges. All other prints are borderless (edge-to-edge).

Print sizes 11 x 17 or smaller will be shipped flat in a chipboard mailer. Larger prints will be gently rolled and delivered in a reusable poster tube.
